Srebrna Góra lies at the foot of the Fortress, but it's worth stopping here not just to visit it. Narrow streets climb the slope among beautiful, colourful townhouses, and the fortress walls are visible above the roofs all the time.

It's a small place with a history closely tied to the Fortress, but also with its own daily rhythm. During a walk you can stop by the local bistro, located in the heart of Srebrna Góra, for coffee, wine or delicious focaccia.

Srebrna Góra works well as a stop during a weekend in this part of Lower Silesia. You can walk through the town, go for a hike in the Sowie Mountains, and then continue towards the Kłodzko Basin.
