Cookie policy

Version dated August 12, 2026

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information saved on a user’s device while using the website. The website may also use similar technologies, such as tracking pixels, local browser storage, or device identifiers. In this policy, all these solutions are collectively referred to as “cookies”.

2. Who uses cookies

The website administrator is:

METALIST sp. z o.o.
ul. Kolejowa 7
57-215 Srebrna Góra
NIP: 8871832239
e-mail: villastaraapteka@gmail.com

3. Types of cookies used

a) Essential cookies

They are necessary for the website to function properly, to ensure security, to remember cookie-related decisions, and to provide basic functionality. They are not used to create an advertising profile and do not require user consent.

b) Analytical cookies

They are used by Google Analytics 4 to create statistics on website usage, in particular to measure the number and sources of visits, visited subpages, time spent on the website, and actions taken.

Analytical cookies are enabled only after clicking “Accept”.

c) Marketing cookies

They are used by Meta Pixel to measure advertising effectiveness, attribute actions on the website to ads on Facebook and Instagram, create audience groups, perform remarketing, and optimize advertising campaigns.

Upon granting consent, Meta tools may process, among others, IP address, cookie identifiers, browser and device data, visited page address, entry source, and information about actions taken, such as checking availability or sending an inquiry.

If advanced matching is active, contact data provided by the user in the form, such as email address or phone number, may be hashed and sent to Meta for more accurate attribution of the event to the user’s account and measurement of advertising effectiveness.

Marketing cookies and advanced matching are enabled only after clicking “Accept”.

4. Tools used

Google Analytics 4

Provider: Google Ireland Limited and entities from the Google group.

The tool is used to maintain website statistics. Google Analytics may use cookies in particular:

  • _ga – used to distinguish users, typically stored for 2 years;

  • _ga_<identifier> – used to maintain session state, typically stored for 2 years.

The actual period may be shorter due to browser settings, tool configuration, or earlier withdrawal of consent.

Meta Pixel

Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and entities from the Meta group.

The tool is used to measure ads, remarketing, campaign optimization, and audience matching. Meta Pixel may use cookies in particular _fbp and – after entering from a Meta ad – _fbc. Cookie names, scope, and duration of operation may change according to Meta configuration and documentation.

Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager is a tool for technical management of codes and tags on the website. Merely placing the container does not mean consent to enable Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. Optional tags should remain blocked until “Accept” is clicked.

5. Consent and banner action

During the first visit, the user may:

  • click “Accept” – then they allow optional analytical and marketing cookies described in this policy to be enabled;

  • click “Reject” – then optional analytical and marketing cookies will not be enabled.

No choice is not consent. Until “Accept” is clicked, Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, and advanced matching remain blocked.

Refusal does not affect the ability to use the basic functions of the website or to send an inquiry.

6. Withdrawal of consent

The user may withdraw consent at any time by using the “Cookie Settings” or “Change Consent” link available in the website footer. Reopening the banner allows you to select “Reject”.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of actions taken before its withdrawal. After withdrawing consent, optional tools will not be enabled during subsequent visits in the same browser.

The user may also delete previously saved cookies by using their browser settings.

7. Changing browser settings

Browsers allow you to delete and block cookies. However, restricting essential cookies may affect the functioning of some website features. Detailed information can be found in the settings of the browser you are using.

8. Data transfer outside the EEA

Using Google and Meta services may involve transferring data outside the European Economic Area. Transfers are carried out using mechanisms provided in Chapter V of the GDPR, in particular the European Commission’s decision establishing an adequate level of protection under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses – depending on the provider and circumstances of the transfer.

9. Changes to the cookies policy

The policy may be updated if there are changes to the tools used, website configuration, or regulations. The current version is published on the website.
